HAZEL is pretty much pure puppy perfection. She is of course adorable, but also affectionate, smart, funny and kind. Her foster dad thinks she is the smartest pup he's ever fostered. On top of being a total sweetheart, her inquisitive nature makes her a blast to be around. HAZEL stole her foster dad's heart through the way she ever so softly "talks" to him when she wants to be petted or snuggled. She then thanks him or anyone who gives her affection with her soft puppy kisses.
This girl is eager to explore the big world around her. She is an ideal mix of cuddly and playful. She adores other dogs and has a blast playing with her toys. It will be so amazing to watch this girl grow up. HAZEL has excellent house manners and does well in her crate when home alone. Mastering potty training has been a breeze for this little lady. HAZEL is sure to be a faithful companion who will give her forever family her endless adoration for a lifetime!

HAZEL is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $535 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the Midwest after she is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and our own private transport for our Midwest adopters.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
