Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Frazier is a 9-mo-old neutered male black lab. Frazier weighs 50 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
DESCRIPTION:
UPDATE: Dec 1, 2019: Frazier is making a little progress but is still a shy pup. He definitely prefers men but will warm up to women given time He LOVES, LOVES other dogs and that is where he really thrives! Frazier was not socialized as a puppy so new people and situations are tough for him. He is looking for someone to give him the time and patience he needs to trust. Someone who would be willing to visit him several times would be ideal.
Nov 17, 2019: Frazier is still doing very well at his foster. He is still nervous with people around him while he is eating and prefers to eat on his own. He is definitely partial more to men and will let his FD rub all over him and play with him. FM and other females need a little enticement for him, like yummy chicken in order to be able to pet him. He absolutely adores all dogs and will need a friend of two for confidence. He gets along with every dog he has met!
Oct 15, 2019: Frazier is making great strides in trusting people. He seems partial to men and will let his FD love all over him while he is stingy with his contact with the ladies. Frazier is house trained. He is not crated yet but he has his "area" and a small pen and he loves it. He absolutely lives for other dogs and must go to a home with another dog. He is a very cautious boy but given time will warm up to new people. He is working on his leash walking and is definitely not an expert in that arena yet. He would love to have a fenced yard and a secure, dog savvy home to help him continue to blossom!
Sep 15, 2019: Frazier came to us from a rural shelter as a very scared almost feral pup. He is still leery of new people and situations but is doing much better with his foster/trainer. He is still not ready for full on cuddle fests but he is able to be pet, will even do "drive by" lovings and has started to play, giving cute little play bows. His favorite thing of all is playing with all his doggie friends! He will require an adopter who understands his fears and can continue to help him be brave and blossom. He is house and crate trained. He must go with another dog, is unknown but probably OK with cats and approved for kids 10 and up
