It’s not a big deal or anything, but there’s a song about me. It’s embarrassing, really.

I’m about 2 years old and I just graduated from the PAWS program. I know cool stuff like sit, shake, how to walk nice on the leash plus I’m house and crate trained.

I’m a little shy at first, but I really love people once I warm up. A lot of people think my eyes are super cool, one is blue and the other one is half blue half brown. Maybe I’m a Husky mix, who knows?

I was adopted as a wee puppy from the shelter, then returned a few months ago because my owner was sick. Then, I got to go to the prison and learn all this cool stuff!

My adoption fee is $250 which covers all of my vet care and training I received as part of the Paws program!

Viva! Animal Rescue NM is a foster based rescue therefore we do not have a shelter facility. Meet & Greets can be arranged by appointment only or if the animal is at an adoption event. Our adoption process begins with an adoption application, which you can fill out in person at an event or online here: www.viva-nm.org . Once the application is submitted and approved, Viva conducts a meet & greet, and then a home visit. Once the application, meet & greet, and home visit are successfully completed we complete our adoptions with an adoption contract and payment of the adoption fee. Each contract includes a 10 day trial adoption period. We do NOT do out of state adoptions.

Adoption fees for Mickey is $250.00. The adoption fee includes current vaccinations, Rabies vaccination, Spay/Neuter, Heartworm test, and microchip.
