Zeta’s current owner literally rescued her from an abusive situation a few years ago, and then she lived with him in a frat house for about a year! Despite her crazy beginnings, she’s very sweet and loves her humans! Unfortunately, her owner’s circumstances have changed, and Zeta is in need of a new home. She’s currently staying at Grandma’s house, but it’s not a permanent solution for her.

Zeta’s a 6-year old border collie mix, so she’s got plenty of energy and loves being outside. She does ok on a leash, loves to run, and getting to ride in cars. Field trips to the pet store are ok with her too!

Zeta’s lived with a German Shepherd and her current roommate is a little Westie, so she’s good with dogs, but only after a proper introduction. If they’re on the other side of the fence, that’s another story! She’s also fine with cats, except that they’re a little scary, so she keeps her distance.

She’s an excellent watch dog, because she doesn’t kid around with strangers coming in the house. They are only allowed in after her people have said that it’s ok, and if the stranger knows the password is to pet her! After that, they’re no longer a stranger. And she's good with kids.

I asked Grandma about Zeta, and she said, “I absolutely LOVE her. She's very snuggly and loves to sleep with me. Affectionate and quite smart.”
