Although Fawn is located at our Adoption Center, her adoption MUST go through her rescue. Please contact them for more info at https://www.smalldogrescuene.org/
Age: approx 1 years old
Weight: 20 lbs
My adoption fee is $399
Fawn is a high energy fun loving pup who is perfectly happy playing with her friends for hours at the dog park or cruising her own fenced in yard looking for critters. She can go sunrise to sunset on the chase and is easily distracted from her people when her nose hits the ground so a fenced in yard is a must!
She also knows how to have a good time with her favorite squeaky toy or one of her many bones so don't be fooled by her seemingly quiet time. Fawn is a serious flight risk and needs to be on a leash whenever she is out of her safe place. She has a knack for getting over a fence so more than 4' high is necessary and she even knows how to climb trees to get to where she wants to go.
She plays very well with dogs her size and larger as long as they are up for a good run and tackle. Unfortunately Fawn was returned to us because she was didn't like sharing high value items with her smaller adoptive sisters. Therefore she will do best in a house with larger dogs or as an only dog though she really would benefit from having a play buddy in the house.
She is housed trained and will go outside at will to do her business without any accidents inside. She slept in her own bed in her parents room without any problems and is ready at the crack of dawn to start her day but is also ready to cuddle under the covers after her morning sojourn in the yard. She completed a basic training course and is still learning her manners but will sit for treats or her meal and will come when called if she isn't on the hunt (which is rare).
She does well on leash as long as she has a strong pack leader to lead the way and is looking for someone to take her on grand adventures and can spend time outdoors with her. An active household would be ideal. Won't you give Fawn the great life she deserves? Her former parents are willing to talk to any potential adopters to give them the inside scoop on this little love bug so what are you waiting for?
