My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dexter is a westie, poodle mix, about 3-4 years old. He is well behaved, with his great manners. Going for a walk, Dexter is your man. Going on a long car trip, Dexter is your man. Dexter is an all around awesome dog. He loves to play with kitties, he is a ladies man, preferring the company of female dogs. Sit... He's got that down. Stay… Yup, no problems letting people go in and out while he waits his turn. Treat… Sit, down, or dance, because he can do them all. New people… well, he's going to hang back for a moment and take it all in before rushing up for love. Meal time… he prefers to eat in his "crate". Small kids… their energy is a little frightening for Dexter. Older kids… there goes Dexter following them to the kitchen hoping they drop some good food for him. Adoption fee $425 Adoption Requirement: No male dogs, kids must be of teenage age. Our rescue does a lot of out of the area, out of state adoptions, his new owners will need to come to Phelan, Calif to meet and pick him up. We do not ship our rescues.
