My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Misfit Rooster Cogburn is approximately 2 years old Poodle/Maltese Mix. Rooster came to know Misfits after being picked up by DACC as a stray. Misfits pulled him immediately after seeing what rough shape he was in. Over grown and matted coat, infested with fleas and painful burs.
Dani's Grooming in Warren was able to shave this sweet boy down, and that is when we discovered he only has one eye! The veterinarian believes this to be a birth defect but this does not affect Roosters quality of life.
Rooster will do well in a home with older kids (10 years and up), no large dogs as they tend to scare him. Rooster would do best in a home that has another small dog and a human that is not gone all day. He is 10000% a lover and a gentle soul. He absolutely LOVES squeaky toys and his foster mom is working on preventing him from chewing them up. When given an antler as correction he responds very well.
