My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosco (P. Coletrain) is a 2 yr old smaller male Aussie, neutered, HW negative, UTD on all vaccines and on flea and HW preventative. He weighs in at 51 lbs and his tail has been docked. He is currently located in SW Arkansas, but he LOVES to travel! I say 'smaller' only because he's a little more lean than average and he was malnourished when we received him, but we've managed to put some weight back on him and he's looking great! He could still use a few more pounds in time. He loves to be inside the home! He just recently got on the sofa but has never tried to get in a bed with anyone; I'm sure in time, he will make his furever family a great bed partner. Roscoe is sometimes unsure of strangers; he's never bit anyone, but he has growled at a couple of strangers that try to pet him in public. I'm sure it's a trust issue from an unpleasant past. He's getting better every day! He has NEVER shown any aggression to any animal. In fact, he wants to play with them all, including cats. And if the stranger person has a dog with them, he will love on them as well; it's just when they don't have a dog with them does, he second guesses them. He's great on a leash; doesn't pull at all. He is completely house trained; he's never had an accident in our home since we've had him. And he hasn't chewed anything except dog toys. He is a PERFECT house guest! I'm not sure he'd ever had a toy in his prior life, but he LOVES the BIG SQUEAKLY ones! Roscoe is HIGH energy! He is great at napping and good in the house, but he needs a place to run or go on frequent brisk walks. He plays rough, meaning he doesn't know his own strength. He may throw his head back to meat yours and give you a headache. He's working on this though. I recommend him for a home with adults and either older children (his high energy may hurt a small child) and other pets to keep him company If you are interested in providing Roscoe a furEVER home, please fill out your application at https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-applica'|
