My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tommy
Tommy was rescued from a high kill shelter in the nick of time. He arrived to our safety on Sept. 6, 2019, where he has been an exceptional guest.
Tommy is thought to be about a year old. He looks like a Pointer mix. He weighs 75 pounds. Tommy is a looker. He has as a beautiful white coat with brindle markings and the floppiest of ears. His face sports two eye patches that make him too cute for his own good.
Tommy has a sweet, sweet, sweet personality and is just an overgrown puppy. Dogs like Tommy are too precious. He’s fun, he loves attention and he definitely brightens the day of shelter staff and volunteers. He waits eagerly at his kennel door hoping to be noticed. His tail is always wagging and he’s grateful to have a safe place to lay his head until his forever family finds him. Tommy is an active dog. He’d do best with a family or person that makes him a part of their activities. Tommy walks well on a leash, if just a little excited. He may be house-trained. He does his best to not soil his kennel and waits to do his business when he’s out on a walk or in the yard. Tommy does fine with cats and ignores the other dogs when walking by their kennels. Tommy will make for a great hiking or running partner. He’s eager for adventure and definitely would add a lot of fun to any activity. He hasn’t yet met a stranger. Several of our trainers have been working with Tommy, and he has shown himself to be very treat oriented, and smart as can be. He is quickly learning how to walk politely on a leash, and has learned sit, stay, and wait commands. They have all commented on what a smart and willing dog he is.
Come meet this beautiful boy. You’ll be glad you did.
Tommy is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped.
