DENO
Breed: Great Dane / Adoption fee is $225 / Sex: Male / Age: 2.5 years / Weight: 145 pounds
Deno is a happy boy, he some times is a little nervous if a lot is going on around him. He has adjusted here pretty well and with slow proper intro's he has been good with everyone. But he has had times he gets spooked by something or someone and will growl and bark to alert that he is uncomfortable.
House Manners: Deno has a indoor outdoor run and keeps the inside clean. He did not marked when he was roaming the lobby.
Basic Training: Deno seems to know most of his basic commands and is good on a leash once he is past his initial excitement.
Other Dogs: Unknown, will evaluate soon
Cats: Unknown, will evaluate soon
Kids: Unknown, we have no history with Deno and children and he is a very large dog that will growl sometimes when nervous so kids 13 yrs old and older are suggested that have dog experience to leave a dog alone if he was to growl for some reason.
Fencing: Deno was given up by his owner due to failure to contain, the fencing was reported to be in poor condition. Deno will need a secure 6 ft fence.
The adoption fee is $225.This dog has had its age appropriate Vaccinations brought up to date with Rabies shot (4 m & older), heartworm tested (4 m & older) and/or started on prevention, basic dewormer, spayed or neutered and microchipped by 24Petwatch with free registration , and also comes with 30 days of free 24Petwatch Pet Insurance .
Important PLEASE read if interested in adoption:
We have a pretty open adoption policy, apartments, unfenced yards, and young kids are okay, but only if the pet you are interested in is a good fit for that situation!!! Some dogs may require a fence of a certain type and height, due to safety, the breed or known history. We are looking for pet parents that provide vet care such as routine vaccines for their pets and heartworm prevention for dogs. Please understand we do cross check vet references and landowners/landlord policies and cannot process applications with incomplete or incorrect information.
We asked that you take your newly adopted dog for a vet exam in the first 30 days to establish with your vet and obtain their heartworm prevention prescriptions and have a fecal exam administered as some pets may need additional de-womers after leaving our care.
