My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cali #2425 is a 6 year old female Aussie, weighing 38 lbs. She is on the smaller side, but pure Aussie. Cali is a velcro dog that loves to be with her person. She has had the chance to expand out here in her foster home having a wrestling mate and running freely on 2 acres but she still prefers to be near her person whether inside or outside.

Cali is protective of her person and surroundings and can show aggressiveness toward other two or four legged's until she gets a chance to meet them. As any strong Aussie she wants to nip sometimes to get her point across. She has issues with barriers between two or four legged creatures also, so Cali needs someone that is fully in charge. She will back off when her person indicates, otherwise she wishes to be protective.

Cali needs proper introductions before freely interacting. Cali has had obedience training in the past but could use tuning up with her new person so knows who is in charge as she is an Alpha type.

Cali walks well on leash after the first few minutes of excitement. She does have a loving personality once she has bonded with her people. She would love to sleep with her people as well. Cali is being fostered in Medina Ohio.
