Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lasso is ready for his forever home! He is a very low energy, 43 pound, 2-year-old Aussie who is being fostered in TEXAS.
He does well on car rides and is a gem walking on a leash or will also walk close by without a leash. He is food driven and loves being rewarded with treats for his good behavior! He is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and on flea and Heartworm prevention.
Lasso is amazing with dogs of all sizes and horses. He totally ignores cats and chickens after a cursory sniff. He's a great guard dog and will bark to alert of strangers or non-family dogs. He loves to eat scrambled duck eggs for breakfast, and he likes chicken eggs too. He dislikes the vacuum but has learned to tolerate it. He loves being read to in bed, and in fact, the bed is his favorite place to be if not in his crate or playing outside. He is crate trained and the crate is his safe space when he is worried or wants to be alone. He loves exploring outside, chasing squirrels, playing keep away with his fur siblings, and playing fetch with his humans.
Lasso will do best in a home without small or rambunctious children as he can be startled by loud noises and just isn’t comfortable in really loud environments. He is afraid of thunder, but does totally fine in a crate or if he can be close to his person for comfort. He knows sit and down, and is very trainable.
Lasso is a Parvo survivor and missed out on some of his prime socialization time so he would really benefit being in a home that will get him out and about on a regular basis to help catch up on that. He is somewhat timid when he meets new people. He’s the sweetest and calmest dog you’ll ever meet!
