Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Bubbles story…unfortunately we don’t know the beginning. Even more unfortunate, we DO know the middle. She was dumped. Literally dumped.
Someone saw a car come to a stop, let her out, then they drove off without the poor sweetheart. How scared and confused she must have been.
While this is a sad, sad middle of Bubble’s story, from that terrible point forward, only good times filled with LOVE and HAPPINESS are ahead for this sweet girl. Bubbles is in a loving foster home that she shares with 2 adult humans, 5 other dogs, and 3 cats. She is SO wonderful with EVERYONE she meets!! She LOVES attention and just hanging out with everyone. She doesn’t even need to be crated when her foster parents are not home. She is happiest hanging out on a dog bed and getting LOTS of attention. She is even learning to enjoy going for short walks.
Bubbles is estimated to be about 6-7 years old. She is a spayed Beagle/Basset Hound Mix that is (thankfully) heartworm negative. Bubbles weighs about 45 pounds, but the vet says her goal weight is around 30-35 pounds. Legacy and her foster family are working on helping Bubbles get to a healthy weight.
Now that you know the details to the “middle” of Bubble’s story, please apply for her if you would like to provide this amazingly sweet and wonderful girl with her forever home and give her the perfect, fairytale ending to her story the she most certainly deserves!
Our adoption process starts with our application. Once the application is approved, a member of Legacy will contact you to set up a home visit. The home visit usually last 1-1 1/2 hours and is to make sure our dog and any current dogs/cats are getting along, as well as both of us agreeing it's a fit. At this time the adoption fee is due, and begins the 2 week trial. We will check in during the 2 week trial. If it's not working, our dog is returned to the foster home and all except $50.00 of the adoption fee is returned. At the end of the 2 week trial, you decide if you will finalize the adoption - if finalized, the Adoption Contract is signed and all medical records are turned over to you. If at any time you need to rehome the dog it contractually needs to be returned to Legacy Dog Rescue.
