Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sadie is the sweetest, purebred red and white mini-Aussie with just the tiniest hints of tan highlights. She’s 2 1/2 years old and weighs about 30 pounds. Sadie walks great on a leash, is housebroken, and her crate is her palace and safe place.
Sadie started out life with a breeder and had a litter of puppies before moving on to a couple of homes that just weren’t the right fit for this silly girl. She can be a bit timid in new situations and takes time to warm up to new people, places, and animals. Sadie needs a patient human willing to give her time to get comfy and come out of her shell. After which, a smart, cuddly and loving Aussie appears. A calm, confident dog sibling to continue to show her the ropes of being a happy, playful pup would be great too. She’s already learned to love wrestling and stealing chews from her foster sis. Sadie does well with cats too. While there are no young children in her foster home, she tends to be very patient and gentle.
Sadie loves chewing on her bones and antlers and such. She’s not a fan of loud noises, so sometimes the rumblings of thunderstorms and lawn mowers can make her a little anxious and seek out the comfort of her crate for some down time. The sounds and smells of dinner can usually draw her out!
Sadie is currently fostered in Gainesville, FL. Please apply to ASF, if interested in giving this little goofy girl her furever home.
