Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Frankie is a 10 year old senior cat who was dumped in the parking lot of the San Bernardino City shelter along with 20 other cats. He spent 2 months in the shelter being overlooked. When he was finally rescued, it was clear that he had endured a very rough life. He had to have all but 2 of his teeth removed... but once his mouth pain was gone, he was able to eat and gain weight. It took several months of emotional rehabilitation for Frankie to learn to trust and love humans again. He took his time, but he eventually began seeking out human affection, cuddling, and even playing! Yes, this once cranky old man had found a zest for life! He recently attended his first adoption event, where he confidently interacted with new people and enjoyed their praise. After a year of emotional and physical rehabilitation ... we believe Frankie is ready to be adopted. He does enjoy a quieter home, but does well with other cats and likes people. Younger children aren't ideal for him, but he does well with older children and adults.
