My story

Look at this handsome boy, Ruger! He's a 2 year old Australian Shepherd that is an absolute joy. He is as sharp as his namesake, eager to please, and picks up new tricks quickly. True to his breed, he does need mental stimulation so toys, walks, a fenced in yard, &/or an active family would be preferred. He does well in a crate too but gets nervous during storms so a family willing to help him overcome that would be awesome.

Ruger absolutely adores other dogs and kids, but we're not so sure about cats. Car rides and tug of rope are his favorite and the good thing about a car loving pup is he promises to eat all those annoying "car fries" so you don't find them years later. Ruger is fun, friendly, and could definitely be the life of the party.

Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
