My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ferdi is a Bull Terrier mix who was rescued from a kill shelter in California. He is a sweet older guy who still has plenty of energy for fetch and walks. Ferdi has been waiting a very long 3 years (plus time in the shelter) for someone to adopt him. He loves to walk and walks perfectly on a leash- doesn’t pull, just strolls alongside you. Aside from walks, he his favorite things are mealtime, love and relaxing. He has had a hard life of shelters and kennels and deserves a family, a soft bed and good rest of his life. He appreciates the little things in life and looks at you as if he’s saying “thank you.” Nicknames include “Bubba,” “Ferdinando,” and “Uncle Ferdi.”
Ferdinand is 8 years old, 80 lbs, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and deworming. He does not like cats and would do best as a companion dog in a moderately active home with no other animals.
