My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruger is a very active, sweet, 2 year old large German Shepherd. He is very playful and loves the outdoors. He is very friendly with his people, aloof with strangers but friendly. He is a very good boy and can stay free roaming in your house all day when you are at work and is very well behaved inside. He is used to romping on acreage with a female Shepherd. He loves to play with other dogs when he gets to know them. He is dog selective, so slow careful introductions are necessary. A female his size would be best. He LOVES kids but bigger kids are probably best as he is playful and strong, although has been living with a 10 month old baby and he adores him. Ruger would love to find a person that is very active and would take him hiking and running. He would like to be your world. Ruger could use more training, but is good on leash. He does not crate and will injure himself in one, but he is so good inside that he doesnt need to be in one. A fenced yard or acreage is required for him to be happy. He is loosing his home due to his family being forced to move to an apartment and they know he would not do well. They love him and want the best for him.
