America is a sweet, shy little three year old female terrier mix. She is an outstanding companion and wants to be right by your side at all times. America is crate-trained and uses puppy pads, as well as lets you know when she wants to go outside by doing jumping jacks at the door. She can be a little on the alpha side with other small dogs; however, she quickly listens to corrections when she is out of line. She is a pint size little girl weighing in at 6 lbs. She does well on leash walks, and likes to explore. America has the cutest wild terrier hair, but it is much softer than it appears! She does well with older kids and adults. A house with small children would be too much activity for this shy little girl. She is sometimes afraid of loud noises, like crazy Texas thunder!

Adoption fee is $650 this includes ground transportation from Houston, Texas to Seattle, Washington.
Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Texas- but I want to get out of here as soon as I can, so I can have a really good life. My rescue will make sure that I am delivered safely to you.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE HAVE NO BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION- WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE, ALL DOGS ARE IN PRIVATE FOSTER HOMES.
If we consider your home might be a good fit, we will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application. We do check references, use social media, BeenVerified, do phone interview/emails, and home check will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.
Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we have to move on to the next application.
Our adoption fee is non-negotiable- we need these funds to cover vetting, training, etc. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption- Cash or PayPal.
