This is my story so far, all eight months of it..... I was born outside between two big industrial buildings. A human friend would talk to me through the fence every day for weeks, leaving me food and water making sure I wouldn't go hungry. He set up a trap, but I avoided it for a long time, until one day I finally walked into it. Luckily I did, as I had injured my eye and it was getting worse. I was extremely scared and didn't trust anyone coming near me at first, but my friend took me to the vet and had me checked out, neutered and because my eye was so bad I had surgery to remove it. Which I think makes me even more handsome! Everything is healing well!! My human friend hangs out with me every day and I'm learning to trust, but I am still real shy. I would love to find a forever home or at least a foster.. as I love to be pet, I think I like small dogs as I met one the other day. I talk to another cat through the door where I am staying and I think I will be OK with other cats as well. I would have to be a indoor cat as I have had enough time on the street and only have the one eye.
