Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Serena. What a beautiful, regal lady! This stunning German Shepherd is a purebred adult female. Serena is about 5 yrs old and weighs about 95 lbs. She has a lovely disposition with people and seems to like other dogs.
Serena does well with our big foster Doberman male David. They walk well together side by side and do a little bit of race me chase me and side by side two ball fetch in the back yard from time to time. Serena enjoys a good game of fetch but mostly, she loves to be petted and loves any attention you can give her. She TRULY enjoys a nice walk and is a pleasure to walk on the leash. Serena also rides well in the car.
Serena has a pretty strong focus on cats when we are out walking so, a home without cats might be a good fit for her.
She is a very smart lady. We think that Serena would do well with another large breed compatible male dog in her new home or be okay as a single dog as well. A meet and greet might tell us how she does with your current pets.
Serena is crate trained and does very well sleeping inside the home in her extra large wire folding crate. She is quiet and not a big barker. We think Serena can easily transition to be a free roaming, inside dog that sleeps on a dog bed.
Serena is current on her vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. If you would like to be considered for Serena, we ask that you visit our website, www.friendsofcanines.org and click on Adoption Process. Please take a moment to read through our adoption process and fill out an adoption application.
Serena's adoption fee is $225. Thank you for considering a rescued pet.
