Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Handsome young male looking for home
Ranger and his brother Tonto, were turned ito a local shelter at 5 months of age when their breeder could not find homes for them. Unsocialized, but essentially nice puppies, they learned that humans were not so bad and have become affectionate guys. Tonto found a home but Mr. Ranger is still looking !! Since he has been in rescue, he has figured out that people are wonderful things that give him food, attention, and love. He is a fairly typical puppy who loves to run and jump. Because of his youthful exuberance, Ranger is not likely to do well in a home with small children. He likes to play with the resident female dog in his foster home and would do very well if placed in a home with a female companion. While Ranger enjoys playtime with the resident female, he loves spending time with people more than anything. He is quite content to lay in whichever room his person is in. Ranger is willing to sleep and eat in his crate, but when he is awake and not eating, he does everything that he can to get out of his crate. (He is only willing to eat in his crate because food is more important to him than anything else in the world. This is great for training!) When he is afraid of new people or a new situation, he barks to try to scare everything away. However, he is really just a sweet, loveable puppy that loves to give kisses. No small dogs, no cats.
