Meet Coco! This adorable, small 12 lbs., 17 month old sweetheart pup is ready to wiggle his way into your hearts and home.
Coco knows a few basic commands, is potty & crate trained and his leash manners is a work in progress. He is playful and energetic, loves to fetch & return his favorite ball, rumble & tumble with with other small dogs who share the same activity and energy level. He has not been tested with cats. Coco would do best with kids 13+ older - he is nervous around younger kids. He continues to build trust, confidence and socialization to expand his world is required. Those "ears" hear everything!! Coco requires gentle leadership, praise and positivity. Breed knowledge is required. When meeting new people. Coco will bark at first when meeting new people so quiet introductions, allowing him space, giving him time to build trust, know your intentions works best - he is treat motivated.
Coco loves to sleep in the big bed, be included in the family, have small dog companionship (his BFF is Neville who is also looking for his forever home), a secure fenced yard and his human(s) home at least part-time. Daily walks around the neighborhood are not enough for this busy and active boy - he needs opportunities that bring adventure such as: trail walks, beach visits where he can use his busy mind to do interesting things and have fun with his canine friends. He is a fun boy who is looking forward to a life of adventure.
Attending a basic positive force free training program where bonding builds strong relationships is required.
Coco would do best in a single family dwelling with a fully fenced yard.
Coco is neutered, up to date with vaccines, de-wormed, flea treated and microchipped.
Coco is fostered in Seattle, WA
