Elan is one of the friendliest young kitties ever. She has gorgeous emerald eyes and a personality so sweet and friendly she's a GEM. She is fixed and has her shots and is ready to belong to someone who is looking for a best friend. She would love to belong to someone who is home often and to be the only cat. She gets along with other cats but she's tired of sharing the limelight. She's been through a lot.
She's been a mom and got pregnant her first heat and was pregnant again while nursing her first litter. She got pregnant at six months old and again three months later. Elan was a great mother, she was still nursing her first litter while she was about to deliver the second litter. She had another litter of six and she took on two orphan kitties as well nursing 8. All over the course of spring and summer. She was a farm kitty with her brother, he might have been the father of her kittens but he was poisoned by their neighbor as was two kittens of her first litter.
Once we found that, I had the family bring her and the remaining babies in. We believe the brother was either shot or poisoned as well.
She's got gorgeous emerald eyes and gorgeous spots and stripes. She is SO very lovey and now that her litter has all been adopted into wonderful homes, mostly in bonded pairs, she's ready to have a family to spoil her and be her forever family. Elan is just over a year old. She LOVES KIDS, LOVES PEOPLE and she has had enough of being with other pets. She will be a indoor kitty only. We need a non smoking home for her.
