Looking for a handsome and energetic guy? Vinnie/Vader is the guy for you. He is a 18 pound, 3-4 year old, mostly black with white chest, he is a Dachshund mix. He is housebroken and is also doggie door trained. Vinnie is very active and playful dog and needs a home with someone that works from home and will include him in their activities. Kids over 8 years old are best suited for him. His favorite place to be is wherever you are. He loves to play ball is great a retrieving and bringing it back to you. He prefers the company of similar size dogs and likes females more than males. He loves to go on walks and gets excited when you grab his leash. He will be a wonderful, travel , hiking companion and loves to run so a runner would be great. Vinnie knows basic commands, he must have an active home. A treat in the hand will get his attention. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.
2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)
a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.
b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.
c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.
