UPDATE 12/16/2019 DECEASED- FIV TOOK OVER CANCER COLITIS NOT RESPONDING TO TREATMENT - NOT EATING LETHARGIC WASTING AWAY IN PAIN WE HAD TO EU FOR THESE MEDICAL REASONS
This poor cat! He's been shot at-(our vet removed a BB from his back) had an eye enucleation and major dental done prior to rescue. He needs a loving INDOOR home! He's as sweet as can be. He just purrs, purrs, purrs, gives you head butts, greets you when he sees you, and has great litter box manners! He is SUPER FRIENDLY and gets along with the other adult female cat in the foster home. Message us if interested. A local family found him wandering their subdivision and he wanted inside so badly! They could not let him inside, asked for help, and we made contact with them. We went and brought Hobo Da Cat to our vet. He had a chip and we, the chip company, our vet, and the shelter he was adopted from just a few months ago tried to reach the past owner with NO RESPONSE! As you can tell, he's lived on the streets before and he had taken quite a few beatings- let alone he was shot at! He's had enough of the street life, and he wants a loving, forever home. He thought he had one, but it appears he was dumped by the person who adopted him from the shelter. This is so sad but really lucky for him as we will find him the purrfect loving home.
He is FIV positive, but very healthy. He was re- tested for felv/fiv and is fiv positive, neutered, rabies good until 2/2020 & fvrcp shots good until 8/2020 , leukemia shot good until 8/2020, deworm for all three types, flea meds given. He has a microchip that we can transfer over to new owner. INSIDE KITTY ONLY! He is aged to be over 10 years old. He has only a few teeth left (three to be exact) since he had a dental done prior at the shelter. He eats dry and wet food. FIV is not a death sentence. All it means is that he has a weakened immune system Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. The only way it would possibly transfer would be from deep bite wounds- as in a Tom cat fight (Unaltered male cats found outside ) Does not transfer to a people or dogs.
All of our adoptable kittens and cats are tested negative for felv/fiv, spayed/neutered, given age appropriate shots, dewormed for all three types, and flea meds are given.
