Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Doc. Imagine me saying "I'm your Huckleberry" in a southern drawl. (Name that movie). Anyhow, being a "huckleberry" means "one is just the right person for a given job" so my new job is finding a perfect home for myself and becoming your wonderful Golden companion. I'm a 3 years old boy, very handsome with a caramel golden fur coat. I weigh 65 pounds. I'm an owner surrender so I'm a little anxious about what's going to happen next. I'm heart worm negative, up to date on all my shots, neutered and microchipped. I like dogs and am okay with cats; although occasionally they are fun to play chase with. I'm house trained and will look you straight in the eye when I need to go out. I love leash walks and car rides and swimming. I haven't been crate trained so I'd really like to sleep in your bedroom. But I don't get on furniture. I know a few commands like "sit', "stay", "off" and "down". I probably do need someone to do some training with me so I know what the boundaries are. Especially because I like to counter surf and I will steal your food in a heartbeat if I get the chance. And when it's mine, it's mine which I'm told is not a "good boy".
