My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is 5 years old. She was surrendered to her foster mom. She will need a cat savvy person who will give her time to adjust. She does not like to be picked up. If you are looking for an independent kitty, look no further. She will let you pet her on her head, but on her terms. She lets you know when she has had enough. She is very vocal! She likes to rub up against your legs and give you head butts to show you she likes you! She will sleep on your bed, but keep her distance.

She has been around a dog and stood her ground. She has also been around other cats, and can co-exist if given enough time with a proper introduction. She will hiss and growl, but has never attacked or scratched the other resident kitties! She would not do well with young children.

She does not like her carrier! If you are interested in meeting Lucy, you can see her by appointment only. Because she wouldn’t do well in a shelter environment her adoption fee has been reduced.
