My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Riley is an 8 month old male, neutered, miniature Australian shepherd who needs an active home that is familiar with the breed. He is a typical, high energy herding dog who needs a home that can provide him with the mental and physical stimulation he requires to thrive. Riley would be a perfect running and hiking partner and would excel at fly ball or agility. Riley is crate trained and housebroken and loves other dogs. Riley does have some food guarding and is currently being worked with on this and is responding to behavior modification. Though he is good with kids, due to his potential for resource guarding, he will not be placed in a home with young children. We will require another young dog in the home unless there are circumstances where he will receive adequate socialization and exercise. Riley is scared of confudent cats, but would likely chase a scared one. Riley is too active for an apartment and home owners are preferred.
