My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I may walk a little different but my old injury is all healed and it doesn't stop me from walking or running and I can even do a few steps.  Okay it takes me awhile to climb UP the 3 steps but if you are patient, I slowly make it all by myself.  If you are in a hurry, I will also let you pick me up and carry me up the steps. 

When it is time to just chill in the house, I will gladly just sleep in a doggie bed.  I can't jump on the furniture by myself so if you want me to sit up there with you, just pick me up and I will be happy to keep you company.

I get along with dogs of all ages and sizes.  I haven't met any cats but I probably wouldn't mind them.  I liked the children at the adoption events but really small children might knock me over if they are really active.  

We are on a schedule here so I rarely bark to go outside.  I just gladly out when asked if I want to, even if I don't have to potty -- it is nice to explore outside.

Our adoption fee for dogs that are not seniors is $220. All dogs are spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccines and heartworm.
Our adoption process includes an application, personal and vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs under any circumstances.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our front page for the dates of our next Pet Parade. Appointments outside of Pet Parade to visit our dogs are only available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
