Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Max is a super sweet 8 year old Shepherd/Lab mix who was rescued from a local animal control office after being given up by his owners. Max is a chill guy who loves everyone he meets - and everyone who meets him loves him (he is a rescue favorite).
You may notice from his pictures that Max is a TriPawd (he lost a leg after being hit by a car), but don't let that fool you! He goes up and down stairs like a champ, enjoys playing in the yard, likes to go for short walks (it gets tiring hopping along on three legs), and has fun playing with his foster sister.
Max gets along great with other dogs, and has ignored the cats and bunnies he's come into contact with. He will be happiest in a home with a yard where he can play and soak up some sun. He loves going in the car (the dog bakery is a great place to visit!), so would appreciate people who will take him for a ride every now and again. Max is a go-with-the-flow pup -- the only thing we've found he is not a fan of is thunder.
Max is a lean 68 pounds (as a TriPawd he needs to stay trim). He is neutered, up to date on shots, house trained, and micro chipped.
If you are interested in adopting Max, who is being fostered in the Grafton area, please complete an application on our website at http://www.baystatedogs.com/adopt.html (you can fill in the online form or submit the Word version - whichever is easier for you). The adoption process includes an application, phone interview, home visit, vet reference, adoption contract, and adoption fee ($250).
