Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Courtesy post for a private party: "Obie is a handsome Corgi mix. He is approx. 8 years old and 25 lbs. He is neutered, housebroken, uses the doggy door, UTD on all vaccines and has recently had a dental cleaning too! He was adopted through a rescue (now closed) approx. 8 years ago with his brother, Buster. They have lived together their whole lives, along w/several other dogs -- both big and small!
Obie is very different from his brother and is more like a cat! He sleeps in bed with his human mom and dad and he is a very sensitive soul! For instance: he will go on a hunger strike if he is upset. And he is a funny sort with stuffed animals which he treats like his own little family or children!
He has been a very friendly boy with all people, but there is a new baby in the family and he tried to bite her. Thank goodness for his severe overbite AND missing teeth too, or he would have injured the baby! We are keeping them apart for now, but won't be able to do this in the long run.
We are willing to re-home Buster with Obie, but also understand that many people prefer to adopt one at a time.
Obie loves the dog park, walking with his person and other dogs. He does NOT do well with cats or squirrels. This is a very difficult decision, and I appreciate your consideration with giving him a a loving home."
Please contact Colleen directly at (916) 807-4480 if you have any interest in adopting Obie and possibly Buster as well. PS Obie is the all white pup in the photos and Buster is the brown and white one right next to him.
