My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Grits! He's a 6 year old Terrier mix who comes from a loving family where he has spent most of his life. His family describes him as an overall amazing pet. He has a great personality and is energetic, enjoys being outdoors, and spends most days lying next to them on the couch or at the foot of our bed at night. He has been nondestructive and easy to housebreak since he was a puppy. He is very smart and responds well to commands and training attempts. He enjoys boat rides more than actually swimming. He LOVES other dogs and would do well with play dates and most likely sharing a home with a dog. He does live with cats but has a tendency to chase them.

It has only been since the birth of their two now toddlers that they had any issues with him and very regrettably no longer feel this is the best environment for him or our children. The children tend to stress him out and we agree he would have a more enjoyable life living in an adult only household.
