My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I am Loma #2392. my foster mom and dad call me Mona. I am approximately 4 months old and weigh 19 pounds. I am currently living with my foster family in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Northern CA.

My foster family consists of 2 dogs (ages 1 and 8 ) and two cats. I absolutely love my foster siblings and enjoy playing with the dogs. The cats intrigue me. My foster mom says they very tolerant of my insistence to greet them rather abruptly. I am curious, but don’t want to hurt them.

I have not been around many children, only out on adventures with my family and did OK upon meeting the teenagers. I love to play ball, am teething, so need lots of things to chew on like ice, antlers, bones, or other hard toys. I have almost mastered the sit, potty training, and I walk well on a leash with others dogs around me. I also have free roam of the house during the day when my fosters go off to that thing called work because I know how to use the doggie door and I sleep in a crate at night and will go in there when super tired on my own.

I do not like loud barking dogs (except my own) and still get a little car sick, but love going for rides with my foster mom. My foster mom says I am really smart and a little firecracker as I can hold my own playing with the big girls, but I do love to snuggle at my foster moms feet at the end of the night 😊

I am due for one more puppy shot as well as Rabies and am current on my preventatives.
