Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Biscuit is a neutered male available for immediate adoption. He is in foster through Mosh Pit Rescue.
HW neg / UTD on vaccines - dewormed - chipped.
Biscuit is a very stereotypical coonhound. He needs a very active family, needs a job to do, needs to run and play. He's also very young (6mo) so he still is learning how to dog. Loves going for runs, biking, water, the beach, love loves loves being active.
Mosh Pit Rescue pulled him out of the Calhoun County Animal Center 8/9/19 after he had been adopted and returned twice because - he is ACTIVE.... He won't work in an apartment or small condo - unless the adopter wants to run every day.
He's ADORABLE - looks like a big beagle so adopters flock to him - but if an adopter doesn't understand the breed the adoption isn't going to stick. He needs to run/play/be active. Unless the adopter is a marathon runner, he will probably do better with a house vs. an apartment and needs room to run and play.
He's incredibly smart. Good with kids, cats and other dogs. Would do well in a home with another dog or a pack. Loves people, great on leash, good in the car, knows basic commands. He is VERY HIGH ENERGY.

Mosh Pit Rescue does not have a set adoption fee. We ask for a donation to the rescue of $150 but are willing to work with adopters. Some adopters donate more, other adopters donate less. We sometimes have sponsored dogs or dogs in need of more urgent placement where we waive fees completely.
