Alexandria Mitchell is a stunning 1 year old poodle mix weighing 16 pounds. Full grown she will probably be 20 pounds. Alexandria was abandoned by her owner twice & cared for by the same good samaritan on both occasions before joining Fluffs & Scruffs. Alexandria is a pretty quiet girl most of the time but she plays a lot with another young poodle we have. She has been in two different foster homes with cats with no problems. We would like her to be the only dog for 3 to 6 months so she can seriously bond with her adopters. She has been bounced around too much so this bonding time will be crucial for her to know she is family You: are retired or semi retired or have an adult home all day & have a safe yard. Alexandria likes children she has met from aged 10 & up. We have not had her around younger kids so that is an unknown. She loves tummy and face rubs & sleeps through the night in our bed. Potty trained, prefers going outside & has a lovely temperament.
Our BASIC Vetting protocol is spay/neuter, all shots including Distemper, Parvo, Bordatella, Rabies, Heartworm Negative & Fecal to Laboratory testing. Dental when needed. Micro-chipped with Home Again where possible ~ some dogs arrive chipped to other companies. We are able to offer one month of free medical insurance through Petfinder & a free rescue exam with one of our Veterinarians or someone local to you. You need to do nothing for a year with our dogs as we have done it all. Our tax deductible adoption donation is $650.00.
