Sophie #2 is a 3-year-old spayed female chocolate lab. Sophie #2 weighs 55 pounds and is up to date on shots. Sophie #2 and Lexi are bonded and the two must be adopted together.
Sophie and Lexi are great pups - they are friendly and very lovable. Sophie seems to be the leader and the first to explore, Lexi follows along. They love to play together and sound like one of them is going to get hurt but its play. They are carrying on one minute and laying besides each other nuzzling each other the next. Sophie normally beats Lexi to toys but Lexi sneaks in every once in a while. Lexi and Sophie would like to meet a family that will give them love, attention and exercise they need and has a fenced yard for them to play in.
We were contacted by Sophie and Lexi's old owner and got new information which allows us to have them adopted to families with children age 5 and up.
From their old owner:
- Lexi was a stray they rescued in 2015 she was about 6 months old so changed her age to 4 years old.
- Sophie was adopted in 2016 as a puppy so changed her age to 3 years old. She had a litter of puppies last year. Sophie loves stuffed animals will carry one around with her all the time.
- House trained and had run of house, crate trained.
- Lived with kid's ages from 5 up. They were super with the kids and we never had a problem when they were around them.
- They were escape artists and would get out of the yard. Trained to electric fence but would bust through once and a while. (Note they were left outside all day with no supervision and may have gotten bored)
They really are wonderful babies & have a lot of love to give.
