Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This cute little guy is Gent, and is he not just the handsomest Gent you ever did see? We are not terribly sure what kind of dog Gent is, but if you google Manchester Terrier he looks identical to them; for the sake of uncertainty though we will call him a Manchester Terrier mix. Gent is a male, and we believe him to be right around eight years old. He is still a very active guy and is a block of solid muscle man dog; if it weren’t for the bit of grey on his muzzle and the slight blue tint to his eyes we would think he was a much younger dog! Gent was found as a stray, with no chip and no owners ever came forward. His finders brought them into their vet and then they reached out to ask if we could help find him a home, and well, we cannot say no to such a big eared cutie! Gent really liked the car ride home and scoping out the scenes in all the windows, he’s a dog that likes to be “in the know” of what is happening in his surroundings it would seem. He’s certainly curious about everything that’s going on and he’s quick on his long legs to go exploring and check everything out. From what we can tell he doesn’t mind other dogs and cats at all, and seems to be very solidly potty trained. He is a bit jumpy with loud noises and sudden movements, so we do not think he would enjoy a home with small, active children. We believe a more laidback environment would suit Gent nicely. Between his size and the fact he kennels well and stays quiet in his cage, he would make a lovely apartment pup! We will update this if things change though, he’s been bounced a lot over the last couple of days and he’s a bit stressed out; we can’t blame him there. It is clear that he is a very intelligent pup and just wants to find a family to call his own, who will spoil him rotten.
Gent is a foster dog through Saving GRACE, his adoption fee is $175. Gent has been neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, and more. All Gent needs now is a family who is ready to open up their home and heart to such a handsome man dog!
If you think Gent may be the gent for you, please head to our website and fill out an adoption application!
