My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ford is a sweet old guy who lost an eye to an injury and has some limited peripheral eyesight issues. A 9-year-old Shih Tzu who weighs in at 15 lbs, he is healthy and looking for a home that loves him. He bonds most easily to women, and needs someone who is home more than not. Patience and understanding are needed because he is sometimes aggressive around food. Often, because of the eyesight issues, he may seem to snap for food being given to him. Settled into his foster home, he waits for his bowl and handles a slow feed bowl fine. Ford prefers soft beds to sleep in and still loves to run around carrying toys. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, but he does need a home with no small children.
