My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rio is a 3 year old Rotti/Boxer Mix and a favorite among all volunteers and rescue dogs. He attends countless obedience classes as a demo dog and is always ready to help new rescue recruits learn the ropes and help build up their confidence. Rio is a great role model and wonderful playmate for pretty much all the rescue dogs. Rio is super smart, playful, athletic, and is definitely an outdoors pup. He enjoys the fresh morning air, nice long walks, and returning to lie down on the back porch to sunbathe. Rio is an eager boy that loves to be around people and canine buddies. At night, he rests well in his crate and in the morning he waits patiently for his day to begin. Part of his daily routine is to select a good chew toy, set up a cozy place to lay down, and then unwind with some quality chew time. When the weather is warm and just right, Rio loves to go swimming and retrieve sticks. When the weather cools down, he enjoys long walks and sniffing the crisp air around him. Rio would be a great companion in the car, at the beach, at fun festivities and almost anything outdoors. He's GOOD with dogs. He's OK with cats, but tries to out smart them and show them he's boss.
