My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pirate is a 3 to 4 year old hound mix. What a handsome guy he is! He is approximately 60 lbs. Pirate was found as a stray and surrendered to a rural Virginia shelter. Pirate has an injured eye and per his veterinarian, no further medical treatment is necessary. However he did test positive for Heartworm, but has since completed treatment and is doing great!

At the shelter he interacted in several playgroups and did great, and the staff described him as playful, social and sweet. Pirate is also good on lead, good with cats and crate trained and has been very calm and quite here. Pirate will be a great addition to any family!
