My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Red is an adorable, petite, Dachshund mix who came into our organization after being abandoned at a home. She is a very special girl who has learned the ropes of living inside a home with a loving family. She is completely house-trained and does not require a crate. Red loves treats & will take them from you very gently. She is spayed, microchipped,up to date on vaccines and is Heartworm negative. She is on monthly flea, tick & Heartworm preventative. Because she was left on her own for many years she can be timid and will take some time to warm up to her new owner...and develop trust. She walks well on leash and knows sit. She would do best in a home with another dog to boost her confidence. She is used to a more rural, quiet home and loves running around with her doggie foster brother. She would do better in a home with older children or no children...due to her timid nature. Red is truly a diamond and will steal your ❤️!
