My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I want to tell you a story about a sweet cat named Steve…..(Rochester, NY)

This past Thursday, he was on the street, where he had been for at least a year. He was rescued by Janine and brought to the clinic for a checkup, shots and to be neutered. Then, still wobbly, he was put in a carrier and taken to a strange place, where there was a woman who was offered to foster him. Steve was scared and he hid. There had been so much change, and so many unknown things happening to him in such a short period of time. BUT, he was such a sweetheart and he didn't hide long. By Friday afternoon, he was coming out to be petted. By Saturday morning, he was purring and following his foster mom all over the bedroom that was now his foster home. He is such a good boy, such a sweet boy. We estimate that is about 2 years old.

Now, all he needs is a forever home of his very own. If you would like to give this sweet boy a home please complete and online Cat Adoption Form here:http://www.janinethebeanrescue.org/cat-adoption-form/

ABOUT JANINE THE BEAN RESCUE:

JaninetheBean Rescue Inc. is a registered 501c3 non-profit rescue group.

There are so many cats that are stray, lost or (sadly) thrown away by their owners and left on the streets to fend for themselves trying to find food and a warm, dry place to sleep. Janine Wagner, of Janine The Bean Rescue, is a one-woman savior to these cats!

She goes out every morning at 4am, 365 days a year in rain, snow & sleet in the Beechwood section of Rochester, NY to provide shelters and feed at 18 different locations, totaling nearly 100 cats. Plus, she TNR's (traps, neuters & returns) many of them to prevent overpopulation -- some of those cats that she traps, she tries to foster and get them adopted into forever homes and off the streets.
