Here's what the humans have to say about me:
8/10-Blue was seen on the side of a busy highway over a week ago. Food and water was put out for him regularly. He was very scared and would often go hide in some nearby brush. Little by little he was luted out more frequently. He was very thin. Animal control was called to try to capture him. Blue did not like that and ran into the brush & hid. We were afraid this dog might be unadoptable. It was hard to check on him numerous times a day, without being able to move him to safety. Finally, 3 HSU women went together to see what could be done. He was lured out with his favorite snack: Vienna sausages. Then the moment came & a slip leash was put over his head. To our surprise, he didn’t fight it. After a couple more sausages, he was very gently lifted into the truck. It was tense, because we didn’t know how he would react. Once in the truck, he has been loving and gentle. Everyone is in love with him. He is gaining wight & is cleaned up. He is good with people & animals. He has a grateful spirit and a heart of gold. HSU is looking for just the right home for this special animal.
