Sunshine (aka Lovie) is the sweetest dog you will ever meet!  This quiet gal was a stray, roaming in Riverside.  Someone reported her to Animal Control when they weren't able to catch her themselves.  She stayed in the shelter and waited for her owners but they never showed.

We rescued her when her hold was up, and luckily a fellow rescuer pulled her and brought her to us.  She had a tumor on her side and her teeth were in bad shape, so she went to our vet and was quickly worked on.  She has been doing great since and is one of the easiest dogs we have ever cared for.  

We're not sure she is part Shiba, but she does slightly resemble the breed.  Her temperament and mannerisms are not at all Shiba like. She warms up to you quickly, is fairly calm, quiet and looking to please you.

**All Saving Shibas Inc dogs must be adopted by families willing to have their pets be a part of their family and must be allowed inside—especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a “tie-out” or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced yard.
**All Saving Shibas Inc dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to adoption. 
**Available pets maybe visited via appointment with foster.
