My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Johnny is a special dog with a unique story. Johnny was found as a stray and taken to a high-kill shelter in southern California. A good Samaritan, Ashley, knew Johnny as a stray and recognized the sweetness in him. Poor Johnny became depressed in the shelter and, when he began to decline, Ashley stepped up to save him.

Johnny received the vet care and some decompression and is now with a trainer. He has opened up again to humans and proven himself to be a gentle dog who is learning to trust again. He now needs a home where he can bond with a human. A backyard where Johnny can roam around, a soft bed, and a quiet home environment with someone who loves him too much to ask?
