My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mattie is one of our cats that came from a North Carolina shelter last year, when the shelter's location was under the threat of Hurricane Florence. This tortie girl lacks the typical "tortie-tude", as we cat people call it, that tends to come with tortoiseshell cats. Instead, she has displayed an incredibly sweet disposition—she's always ready to curl up on someone's lap and cuddle for as long as they'll allow! When she isn't lounging around with a human, she's sunning herself in a windowsill or tumbling around with another cat. Mattie enjoys other cats of all shapes, sizes, and ages, and will play or relax with any that she meets. Along with an affinity for her feline friends, Mattie has adored the dogs that she's been introduced to so far, from small to large.
