Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jefferson is one of our boys rescued from a North Carolina shelter prior to Hurricane Florence last year. This laid-back little guy adores everyone he meets and wants nothing more than to be held by his person. Jefferson is, without a doubt, an old soul in a young cat's body—with just a touch of kitten energy thrown in for good measure. As far as he's concerned, everyone exists to hold and love him. When entering his room, Jefferson immediately comes over no matter if he's met the person before or not, then stretches up against their legs, asking to be picked up. If ignored, he'll eventually return to playing or lounging with his friends. When picked up, however, he loves to put his paws over your shoulders and give hugs, and then alternate between head-butting and tucking his head under your chin.
Down south, Jefferson and his sister Franklin (#199-18-066) were abandoned on the steps of the shelter's kitten barn on the Fourth of July—this is how the pair got their names. No one knows why they were left behind or if they'd had a home before that point, but they don't hold that against the people they meet today! The siblings can be adopted as a pair, but they are also fine with going their separate ways.
