BUDDY was found as a stray in Sun Valley, CA. After over an hour of chasing him around in the rain and traffic, he was finally contained and put up zero resistance in being leashed and assisted into the car.

BUDDY is a neutered male with an estimated age of 8-9 years and he has a couple health issues:

BUDDY is DEAF and has some arthritis in his hips. Most of his teeth - all biting teeth, top and bottom - are worn or filed down to the gum line, as are 3 of his incisor teeth. It makes his adorable smile that much more charming!

On the bright side:
He knows a couple of sign language commands, like sit and wait. He's wonderful on-leash, patient, NOT dog or food aggressive, uses the doggie door and only barks if he really needs your attention, although he always wants your attention :o)

BUDDY sleeps and lives with a smile on his face and that smile is infectious. He can get anything he wants with it.

His foster mom, has three other dogs, and basically, they are not accepting him into the pack. So, he spends too much of his time somewhat isolated to ensure his safely, but he’s a very social guy - pretty heartbreaking and he deserves so much better.
