Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jill (or as we sometimes call her, Jilly-bean) is ready for her forever home! At four years old and less than 50 pounds, she a sweet jumbled mess of butt (and body) wiggles. Jill loves her people, and is quite content to snuggle and be under foot. She absolutely loves to be patted, appreciates the belly rubs (she goes boneless), and just is desperate for love.
Not much is known of her past before she was dumped, pregnant, on a rural piece of farmland (the people who took her in and cared for her for a year suspect she was used for breeding). The couple kept her as long as they could but had to ultimately surrender her because of family changes.
Jill's ideal home would be full of love and affection, and will be understanding that she is a skittish thing. Men intimidate her and any man will need to work on her trust. Sudden movements startle her, but she does become accustomed to the household routine, given patience.
She's not aggressive toward other dogs and will play if they are not aggressive toward her. She's UTD on all her shots, HW negative, potty trained, but does not respond well to crating (she will go in the crate and lay down, but she doesn't care for it).
